I went to Tocano's on Saturday and saw some pretty amazing things. It must have been prom night. There was a party of about 20 from Lone Peak High School. The girls were dressed so incredibly modest, I was proud. Their dresses were gorgeous! I told them how much it totally rocked that they could be absolutely beautiful and modest at the same time.

Another thing that was so amazing and touching was the party of 12 (assuming they were also from Lone Peak) guys who brought dates who had special needs. The girls were so dolled up and beautiful, I had to give them a thumbs up.

We need more things in the world like this. Little things people do that make them stand out.

Redneck Style

A-mazing. We had a "Mullet Mystery Dinner" in our ward and we all came clad in our best redneck attire. It was great fun. Here's my fashion ensemble, complete with fake tattoos displaying my love for every man I ever had a crush on...um...kidding. It looks like LaShane is the current lover. Wow that's hot. We can't forget the tank top, conveniently made from a mens' brief. New of course. Come on, I'm not trashy! They're incredibly cheap. They're 5 for $10.

A Little Luck 'O The Irish

One of my very favorite events of the year is the St. Patty's Day parade at the Gateway. You haven't been to a parade until you go to this one. It's kind of like a super-tame Mardi Gras. A variety of people like you've never seen. Here's part of my attire for the occasion:
Notice the amazing, green eye shadow? Yeah...I also had Kelly Green Converse All-Stars to go along with the ensemble. It seems like I keep collecting more and more green just for this little parade.

This is one of the very unique entries. Yes, it is a coffin. Wait for it, this just gets better....

Oh yeah, that's right. A nice ride for the dearly departed, complete with green flower arrangement on top. Um...beware the Ides of March?

It was pouring the entire time, but we found a nice place under a bridge to keep nice and toasty with a fleece blanket specially made for the parade. Yup, you guessed it. A green blanket. :)
